I’m heartbroken looking at this picture and knowing girls in Nigeria are being SLAUGHTERED because they are getting an education. The terrorist group boko haram, which name translates to western education is a sin, has been killing innocent people because they are scared of girls arming themselves with knowledge. More attention in schools and in the media needs to be brought to this. I don’t agree with people critiquing how France is getting so much attention, I think the coverage there is very important, but I want to see more people informed on what’s happening in Nigeria. The rise of terrorism in Africa is happening, this needs to be stopped. Everyone should have the right to an education, and we need to make sure that one day everybody will.
